ASL's bali blogger having a ball at Canggu. Pic Damea.
For the next few months Gold Coast kid Adam Bennetts is gonna be living the dream in Bali. Surfing all day and DJing his nights away in the clubs of Kuta and Seminyak, Ads has also volunteered his services to ASL as Bali Blogger Boy, giving us the low down on what's up in every Aussie surfer's favourtite holiday isle. Here's Bennetts' Bali Blog One.
It really is true what Dino Adrian said in entry one of Dino's Diary, here on www.surfinglife.com.au: "The Bintang goes down over here like angels pissing on your tongue."Man it's good to be back in Bali!
I roll out of Denpasar airport and instantly I am as sweaty as a paedophile at a Wiggles concert, but hey, it's one hundred times better than freezing your arse off at home.

It really would suck to live far away from this place. For Aussies, depending on where you're based, the Island Of The Gods is no more than a six-hour flight. Luckily for me I spend a fair bit of time in W.A with my lovely girl Hannah, so it was only one movie and a couple of Family Guy episodes from drinking Emu Export to downing Bintang.
Mitch Coleborn, Jay Davies and Bennetts letting loose.
I flew in last Thursday and it was all on from the word go! I had some hell little waves at Canggu on Friday morning, then thought I would poke my head in at Blackdog that night to see what was going on. Ended up running into Mitch Coleborn and Dizzle (Jay Davies) and hung out for a bit. So good to be back!
The Adam and Eve DJ show, on the click wheels of steel.
The Saturday saw Taj Burrow in town, throwing a big party for his birthday at a new club in Seminyak called Divine Wonderland. He hit me up to DJ and I was definitely down to play.

Right now Bali resembles the North Shore in winter, almost everyone important in surfing in town. Naturally, TB’s party was filled to the roof with all the boys, and of course, fine looking ladies.
Over by the decks, Taylor Steele and Kai Neville were talking shop about their next production while Luke Stedman and his supermodel girlfriend, Fa, were bopping away in the corner.
Dizzle was atthe bar giving TB the low down on his American dreams, and why he is moving from the hill at Yallingup to the land of septic tanks.
Every time I looked up, all I saw was a guy wearing a white Red Bull hat with a bunch of rigs dancing around him. This, ladies and gentlemen, was the lovable Jordy Smith.
Ando and Bennetts looking a lot like brothers with some creepy looking dude hanging out behind 'em.
Craig Anderson is in town shooting for Quiksilver’s new range release. A couple of days after this party Ando did a mission to G-Land where Quiksilver hired out the whole joint. No one could get in or out. Imagine being there for that? Six foot G-Land with five or six guys... No one else!
Ozzie Wright using the Canggu lefts as a launchpad. Pic Damea.

It's never ending in this joint. Jordy and Red Bull are throwing a party on Friday and then on Sunday it’s my birthday, so we’re in for another big weekend, and of course, the surf's gonna keep pumping.
I’ll keep you posted, thanks for reading... Bennetts
