Nick Carroll's Big Swell Forecast: Nov. 10-17, 2009

Hi gang, well we are very sorry to say that the coming week looks like the flattest and slowest of the year for the Australian continent. Very little swell can be expected apart from head-high windswells and small southerly pulses up the east coast, windy junk in West Oz, and a very south swell hit in Tassie accompanied by foul onshores. The late spring doldrums are setting in with a rush! On the far end of the forecast period, some signs of life will appear in the mid-Indian Ocean, as a small but muscular storm gains intensity; this may bring some reefs to life in the second half of the following week. Check back with us again on the 17th for an update on that.
